Additionally, Mr. Gan will meet with representatives from the private sector and officially inaugurate Enterprise Singapore’s new Overseas Centre in Austin. This center is designed to assist Singaporean companies looking to expand their footprint in the American market, marking it as Enterprise Singapore’s fourth overseas center in the U.S., following establishments in Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco.

On April 14, Mr. Gan will travel to Washington, D.C., where he plans to meet with Cabinet Secretaries and members of Congress. His agenda includes reaffirming the strong trade and investment relationships between Singapore and the U.S., as well as identifying new areas for cooperation, according to MTI.
Additionally, as the chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Mr. Gan will participate in the plenary meeting of the International Monetary Fund’s International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC). He will also have opportunities to engage with senior finance leaders during the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group.
